A long and winding road led Terry to her home on the Florida Nature Coast.
Following her thirty-three-year business information systems career in San Diego, California, she and her husband embarked on a cross-country road trip in their Fleetwood Southwind motorhome. During their travels, they kept an eye out for the ideal place to settle.
Not ready to stop exploring, her adventure-seeking heart called her to the Mexico Highlands, where they lived for several years before returning to the States. Remembering the Central Florida beauty they experienced on their RV trip, they ultimately settled there in 2021.
The daughter of a US Ambassador to Nicaragua, Terry was born and raised in Central America and is fluent in Spanish. She is currently writing a coming-of-age survival and redemption memoir about her experience growing up in Central America and overcoming significant odds as a teenager after she lost her mom to breast cancer.
Terry holds a BS in Computer Information Science and an MS in Information Technology. She lives in Citrus Springs with her husband Gene, son Jonathan, and Millie, a rescue she adopted while living in Mexico.
